This, what we like to call it, Mini DXpedition. The reason for calling it that is, you go on a DXpedition just a few miles from your home. In our case just a little over a hour driving time and a 30 minute boat ride in the beautiful Gulf of Mexico. No passport need. This event occurred during the 2003 International Lighthouse Weekend August 15-16.

We enjoyed teaming up with our host, the ---> Cedar Key National Wildlife Refuge the
--->University of Florida Seahorse Key Marine Laboratory Celebrating 50 years of service the ---> Florida Lighthouse Association and ---> the Friends and Volunteers of Refuges
FAVOR to help promote awareness and understanding of the enduring and valuable resources that the National Wildlife Refuges provide for our natural heritage.
