If you are planning a
public event (bike ride/race, foot race, etc.) and would like assistance in
communications during the event, please send e-mail to the address at the
bottom of this page or go to the Alachua
County ARES. Website. Although FCC regulations restrict the type of
communications we are permitted to perform, we would be like to help keep the
event safe for the participants and spectators.

change. Please check this page
occasionally for updates. Volunteers are always needed to provide public
service communications. For more information, check
into the the Alachua Co. ARES Net Thursdays at 8:00 pm on 146.820- MHz or go to
the Alachua County ARES.
